Today we reviewed the type of life cycle that plants have called an alternation of generations, in which they grow as haploid male or female gametophytes (gamete producing plants) in one generation and as diploid sporophytes (spore producing plants) in the next generation.
Students completed Section Review 21-1 #1-2 and Section Review 21-2 #1-3 in class. As well the following question was assigned as #4:
Explain in your own words the "moss" life cycle (use fig.2-6 in the textbook).
