Today we stared with Animal Project Presentations, and then there was time in class to work on the labeling diagrams for exam review.

Worm Review

Last class we completed worm review pages. Today we went over what we should know about the 3 phyla of worms (platyhelminthes - flatworms, nematoda - roundworms, and annelida - annelids). There was a chance to copy information for the worm review pages and play a worm review game.

Today there was time in class to :

• Read section 27-2 (pages 594-600)
• Complete all of the questions in the 27-2 Section Review (on p.600)

Roundworms: Phylum Nematoda

Today we took notes on the roundworms and completed a worksheet comparing roundworms and flatworms. Click here to see the powerpoint presentation and notes.

Flatworms

Today we reviewed Phylums Porifera and Cnideria and got an essay assignment comparing the two. Then we took notes on the next phylum - flatworms - Platyhelminthes. Lastly we were assigned a project for kingdom animalia.
